I to have Madsens from Norway. I know my Great grandfather came to Santa Rosa County,Fla. Around 1886 and in Aug.1887 he married Lousiana Stephens in Milton,Fl.His name was William Neils Madsen and his father was Neils Madsen. They both served on Pensacola Police Force in 1910s.Grandpa William left Pensacola in 1912 and some of my aunts say he went back to Norway and was a
polical prisoner. In 1958 a great uncle got a letter from him. He had a relative come visit who was named Otto and died here and buried here. His sisters husband owned the BULL Steamline in Norway that went from their to South Africa and back
Thanks for any help. Barb at Rwbrownsr@aol.com
