Frank Maestas

Hello again,
I have been searching the net for Carlos Maestas who died in the 1944 Liberator Crash in June 1944 in Ballyshannon, Donegal, Ireland with no success.
Interestingly, on the Santa Fe National Cemetery Burials site, I came across Frank Maestas who died on 3rd July 1944 (Carlos was in the Liberator crash in Ireland on the 19th June 1944).
Both were Sergeants in the US army. Frank died in 1944 but was buried on the 4th June 1948...4 years after his death? We do know that US airmen who died in Ireland during the war were reintered in America when the war was over.
I assumed that Frank and Carlos were two different people until I looked again at the records of the 1944 Liberator crash.
Carlos was entered as Carlos F. Maestas. Could the F have been Frank...are they the one person?
It might solve the mystery.
Can anyone help or advise?
Franl Maestas was buried in Santa Fe National Cemetery at Section U Site 153.
Love to hear from any realtions or friends.
Billy Finn, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal
