Here is a brief rundown on what I know about the family of William Maginn (1794-1842), which also includes the notable advocate for the Deaf Francis Maginn. Any additional information greatly appreciated.

John Maginn (175?-1819) appointed teacher in Diocesan School, Cork, in 1777.
       marries
Anne Eccles, daughter of William Eccles of Ecclesville, C. Tyrone
       [marries ???
Miss Exham, 1806 (note, only source newspaper notice of marriage of John Magin to Miss Exham--but it would explain the late birth of Charles Arthur below)]

Children
       William (1794-1842) BA, LL.D. TCD, writer.
       Mary ()
       Margaret ()
       Anne (1801-)
       John (1803-1840) graduate of TCD, Rector of Castle-Town Roche.
       Charles Arthur (1815-1884?) graduate of TCD, rector of Castle-Town Roche, after               his brother

William marries in 1824 Ellen Ryder Bullen (18??-1859), daughter of the Rev. Robert Bullen (d. 1817) and Ann (d. 1824).

Children
       Ellen (1824-18??), Governess, later marries?
       Ann (1825-1845), Governess
       John (1827-18??), Cadet in Indian Army, heatstroke forces retirement

Charles A. Maginn marries Mary O’Callaghan Power in 1850 , daughter of Pierce Power of Roskeen.

Children (twelve in all)
       Charles Arthur (1859-193?). Graduate of TCD and clergyman (C of I, C of E)--Rector of Wormshill (England) 1806-1824.
       Francis (1861-1918). Deaf, and leading advocate for the Deaf in               England and Ireland.
       Elizabeth (18??-193?)
