This might help someone--not related. The Saint Jo Tribune Saint Jo, Montague County, Oklahoma Friday, February 10, 1939 MRS. MARY NORVILL MRS. MARY NORVILL, age 67, died Sunday morning at her home, following a lingering illness of several months. Funeral services were held at the family home Monday afternoon with Rev. LEON MILNER of the Methodist Church and Rev. PAUL THOMPSON of the Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Mountain Park cemetery arranged by Scott Bros. Pallbearers were LUKE GRANT, C. F. PHILLIPS, J. H. FIELD, G. C. DAVIS, OTHO DONNELL and D. T. FARRIER. MISS MARY ADA MAHAFFEY was born at GAFFORD’S Chapel in Hopkins County on April 25, 1871, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. MARTIN MAHAFFEY. She became a member of the Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs. She married JOHN ALLEN NORVILL in 1889. She came to this community and made her home since that time. In the passing of Mrs. Norvill, Saint Jo lost one of its most loved and cherished citizens. She is survived by one son J. O. NORVILL of Dallas; three daughters, MRS. MARIE CONE and MRS. JEWEL FOOSHEE of Nocona and MISS JESSIE NORVILL in California; one grandson J. H. CONE; three sisters MRS. CLISTIE HENDERSON of Cumby, MRS. BALZIE WILLIAMS of Greenville, Texas, and MRS. ELLA NORVILL of Munday, Texas. Her husband preceded her in death in June 4, 1937. Card of thanks from Mr. and Mrs. J. O. NORVILL, Mr. and Mrs. GRADY FOOSHEE, Mr. and Mrs. GUY CONE, and J. H. CONE.
