Yes, My sister wrote all of the Mahaffey family history back that far. The Mahaffey men went back and forth from Irland and America. Often they brought back more family.
She put all of it in the Mormon Library. Also the DAR has all of the brothers who fought in the Rev War proven.
We are decended from Patric and Moses. I have sent word to her. I hope she feels well enough to respond to your inquiry. It was hard to straighten out, because the brothers always named their children after each other.
It is a family to be very proud of. It took her nearly 30 years to prove all of this. We are very proud to have a picture of Joseph Mahaffey, the son of Andrew Mahaffey, the son of Moses Mahaffey. Andrew and Moses both served the Rev War. My grandfather was a member of Sons of the Revolution. Only direct male descendents can belong to this organization. My two neices are in the DAR under Andrew and Moses Mahaffey.
