I am looking for information about my gg grandfather Almon Franklin Mahaffey (found in Reidville area of Spartanburg County in 1860 and 1870 and buried at Abner Creek Baptist)and his son, my g grandfather Benjamin Robert Mahaffey (lived most of his life in Butler township of Greenville County and buried at Roper Mountain Baptist). I am having trouble finding the parents of Almon Franklin. His mother may have been named Sarah. He was a shoemaker and a farmer. I will be glad share the information I have.
