Hello Mahns and those who have relations to the Mahn family.

I have never researched my geneology, but have had various people surnamed Mahn that I never met come through my web site. I also know there is another "Richard Mahn" who posts on this web site. Is there a family tree anyone has worked on?

All I know is that my Mahn part of the family came from Bamberg, Germany. My great-grandparnets then lived in Spokane, Washington. There my grandfather, Vernon Mahn, met my grandmother, Norma Weidner. They had a greenhouse in Spokane. After retiring, they moved to Coer d'lane, Idaho.

Vernon Mahn has one daughter, Betty Mahn (with a previous wife), and two sons, Gene Mahn (Vernon Ugene Mahn) and my father, Gary L. Mahn. Gene Mahn is now 68 and lives in Montana, where his four other children live. My father moved to Boise, Idaho after graduating from University of Idaho. He married Kathleen Harrison. His children are Elizabeth Mahn and myself, Richard Mahn.

I am 30 years old (my dad is 60) and live in China, spreading the Good News. I am becoming fluent in Chinese and rather enjoy my life there.

Any links to more of my family that lived in Spokane would be great. Thanks.

God bless,
Richard Harrison Mahn
