Hi Jon;

This is a very late reply to your question from 2002, but here is some information:

My name is Fred Mailey and I think we may have traded a couple of emails several years ago. I have a website, mailey.net, that you contacted me through, I believe.

The Mailey Bakery is still operating in Latrobe, PA. It is no longer owned by the family, but is run by a former employee of my uncle, John Mailey, who was the last Mailey to own the bakery.

Just a note about the German rooted Mailey name, it is converted from the German last name: Moehle. The "oe" is an umlaut o.

I have some genealogy information about a few generations in Germany before the Mailey's/Moehle's immigration to the States.
