Hi, my name is Aaron Mailey, formerly Aaron Slater, I changed it because my parents are divorced and that's my mum's maiden name, plus its my family name.

My granda was Robert Mailey, he had a brother called Jack who died about 30?years ago, and two sisters Saddie and Anne. Married names Kelly and McNichol respectively. My granda died in 1992, and his wife Mary Mailey (McLaughlin) passed away very suddenly on 11th August 2007. She was a fantastic woman and will be sorely missed by all our family. She was the most amazing nana I could have had.

I cant remember my granda Mailey's dad's name but his mum was called Isabelle, my mum's middle name. Robert (Bob) and Mary had four children, Martin, Eamon, Maria and Angela (my mum).

I am trying to put together a family tree for two reasons. Firstly it is a matter that greatly interests me. Secondl I want to give it to my mum for Christmas.

My nana and Granda were both from Magilligan, just outside Limavady. My nana lived in Limavady from my Granda's death until her own death this year.

Anyone with any information would be greatly appreciated.
