Suzanne ~ Thank you for your gracious reply. Based on the lineage you provided for David Malick (1814-1890) and his wife Elizabeth (1815-1892), I have uncovered information which links the Malick's with the Enterline's. When I was a teenager some 50 years ago, I remember distinctly my late paternal aunt telling me that her paternal grandmother was named Elizabeth Malick but until today I was never able to verify her claim. As it turns out, a close examination of the 1850 US Census records hold the key. The delineation on the David Malich family begins on page 26, line 37 listing in chronological order listing David (36), Elizabeth his wife (35) followed by their children Lydia, John, Louisa, and Rebecca. Turning to the next page (38) we find the last and youngest family member Eiiza Malick. They are all living in dwelling number 191 as enumerated by the census taker. All this seems in perfect order ... but wait. If we peruse further on down page 38 we find just three dwellings away, the Fetter family listed in dwelling number 194, including Benneville Fetter age 9 (line 27), who according to the lineage you supplied me, is to become Louisa Malick's husband. Now it gets even better. Adjacent to the Fetter farm in dwelling 195 and just 4 dwellings away from the Malick farm is the farm of George Enterline (27) line 28 and his wife Elizabeth (16) Line 29). Based on her given first name, her surname, her age and the proximity involved, there is a high probability that this Elizabeth is the first born daughter of David and Elizabeth Malick. Thus giving them a total of six children. I have assigned her birthdate as likely being in or about 1834 in that the census was conducted in early November of 1850 and that she most likely married George Enterline (my paternal great-grandfather) on or shortly following her 16th birthday. It is interesting to note this the union was a highly successful one - together they produced 10 offspring - among which were a doctor, a lawyer, a merchant, and a minister (my grandfather).
