John Malick b. Somerset Co, NJ on 1/11/1762. Fought in Rev War. Applied for pension in Romney,Hampshire Co, WV. I have the history back 4 generations to Germany. Also see article in the West Virginia Advocate, Thursday, May 12, 1988. 4 page article on Malick family.
The 1st Malick in America was Johannes Moelick, b. 2/26/1702 in Frankfurt, Germany. Married Maria Cathrina Kirberger and they came to America on the ship "Mercury", landed in Philadelphia on 5/29/1735.
