What we are certain of is that James was related to John and Thomas. We just aren't certain how. We have not found concrete proof stating weather they were brothers or cousins. James followed the same pattern. He came from Yorkshire, sailed to Philadelphia, and moved to Smyrna, DE. John also witnessed James' naturalization. But we can find no documentaion stating what the relationship is.
