Gouchie 13 April 1882; born 05 August 1863 in Lanesborough, Berkshire County, Massachusetts; died 27 November 1932 in Peterboro, Madison County, New York.
9       viii.       Ernest François Louis Humez, born 05 November 1866 in Aniche, Nord, France; died 25 January 1932 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He married (1) Malvina L. Desquin 13 November 1888 in Cleveland, Oswego County, New York; born 10 April 1866 in Aniche, Nord, France; died 13 May 1894. He married (2) Ida Adel 18 September 1895 in Peterboro, Madison County, New York; born 01 September 1877 in Oneida, New York; died 1946.

I have photocopies of primary records: the Aniche marriage record for Emmanuel Jean Baptiste Humez and Marie Louise Joseph Mallet, as well as the birth records for both of their babies named Antoine Charles Humez. The birth of the second Antoine was recorded "L'an mil huit Cent cinquante et un, le quinze Mars" [1851, 15 March]. Baby Antoine was born "hier" [yesterday] and therefore must have been born on the 14th of March 1851, not the 8th of March, as Antoine himself came to believe. This incorrect March 8 date of birth was also appended to Antoine's death certificate by the informant, his daughter Eugenie.
