I will give you the limited information I have, maybe you can see a connection. My granfather,John P.(Jack)Malley, born in Canada, November 1854,immigrated to U.S.A in 1870,about 16 years old. The only brother we know about is James, born in Canada in January 1864,immigrated in 1872. This information is from the census. The oldest date that we have other than this census information is 1894,when John married our grandmother in Bucombe County, N.C. They both worked in the timber industry and traveled throughout and bought land in TN and North and South Carolina. On marriage application, John's mother was living in Canada and his father was deceased. We have not been able to find any information on either of the brothers before 1894, where they lived or anything. I hope you can see a connection we are about out of hope. Thank you for any information you might be able to share. Bobbi
