I am sorry that I just found this by accident tonight. I am your aunt. (Your mother's half sister). This man was my father. I was 11 when he died and your mother was 14 as I recall. She had just found him only a few months before he died and she had just gotten married to your father. Ruth was not Daddy's sister, but an aunt of his who lived in New Orleans. Daddy's sister, Yvonne Griffith is still living and resides in their home town of Bogalusa, La. Are you still in Houston, Texas. That is where your mother lived last I knew. She was raised by the Groome family, who I was told was actually an aunt and uncle of your grandmother, Laquita.
