No, I don't think so. The Sarah Maley in my family was born in California. Her mother, also named Sarah (nee BRIGHT), married Michael Maley on 1 Oct 1857 in Sparta, Morris Co., New Jersey. Afterwards they lived in California. As far as I know, there is no SHINE surname in this family.

I found a website last night that may be of help to you; I looked through it briefly. It concerns the MALEY surname. www.maley.org
