My wife's grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Malley, might have been a sister of your (or Peg's) Owen Malley. I know little about the family who I found only recently at 26 Chestnut St., Lawrence, in the census of 1880. They were:

Michael Malley, 63, retail grocer
Mary Malley, 53, wife, keeping house
Owen Malley, 26, son, clerk in store
Winifred Malley, 24, daughter, organist
Elizabeth Malley, 20, daughter, works in braid mill (?) (my wife's grandmother)
James (?) Malley, 18, son, at school

Michael and Mary (maiden name unknown) were said to have born in Ireland, the children all in Mass. From family records, I know that Elizabeth married in 1890 in Lawrence to Jean Claude Joseph Flamand, that her mother Mary also died in that year and Michael died in 1892, both still in Lawrence.

If there's a match, I'd appreciate any additional information you might have about the origins of Michael and Mary and when and where they were married.

If you're interested, I can pass on some information about Elizabeth Malley's Flamand descendants (she and "JCJ" had four sons).
