My wife's ggrandfather was James J. Malloy of Pennsylvania also. We show him born in Hickock, Pa in 1875. His marriage license shows him marrying Mary Harrington in Butte in Oct. of 1899, and his age at that time as 24. A witness for the Marriage certificate is Charley Malloy.
Mary A. Malloy, daughter of James J. was born in Butte in 1905 and spent part of her early life in Neb or Iowa. She returned to Butte, Mt and was married there in 1926 to August Trankel. She died in Helena Mt in 1992, leaving 2 sons, Ronald and James. After the death of her husband in a mining accident in 1935, she attended beauty college and became the owner of the "Bonnie Blu Shopp" in Butte which she operated until the early 1960's. Do you show any connection with this James J.?
