My wife is Mary, oldest daughter of James. Oldest of 5 daughters and two sons. Many descendents are located in Montana, and their number is still increasing. Her grandmother was May. I'm trying to trace them back to Ireland. Yes, I would like to have the obits that you mentioned. We need to see if there are any naturalization papers for the father. Do you have the father's name? If the 1880 census is correct and John was born in Pa., it appears that the family resided in Pa as early as 1861. It may be possible to trace a marriage record for them also. He may have a military record as well. I'd be happy to provide you more info from May's family if you'd like
