Esther Ellen Maloy/Melloy/Molloy

Folks, please help if you can. I have been looking for Samuel and Esther Ellen Melloy (or any variation of the family name thereof) since 1967! Family oral history says that Samuel worked on the Lebanon Valley Railroad in PA until its completion. We believe the first run of the railroad was 1858. The story then says that he was called back to England after that and died and was buried at sea. His widow, along with two sons, William and Charles, then somehow miraculously showed up in Union County, KY in 1868 where she became the second wife of Joseph C. Corbett. William was my progenitor. The Corbett family, along with the two Melloy sons, later moved to Webster County, KY. We do not know the exact date of death for J.C. Corbett, except possibly after 1902. Esther lived until May 1, 1917. If you have ever heard any part of this story within your family, please contact me at mnphegle@paducah.com. Thank you.
