Hi Barbara,

How did you get on in Ireland?
I live in the parish of Daziel Motherwell.
I am also a Molloy and my grandparents emigrated from Donegal to here. My fathers name is Peter Molloy as was his fathers.
My ancestors all worked in the Steelworks in Wishaw Lanarkshire Scotland. If I am visiting Mitchell Library I could search the poor records for you. Also if in Edinburgh I could look up BMDS, Best bet is to put a message on Rootschat, Lanarkshire, you have to register first. If they owned a pub and a shop there should be imfo on them

Please get in touch and I will see if I can help you
