I am going in over my head perhaps, but Rev.Booth Malone, with a wife named Peggy was seen inLimestone Co.,Alabama deed in 1832 to a Milton Blocker. The Blocker connection suggests a relatedness to the John Malone who died in the Richland Co.,SC area who had married Mary (Bamer)Kennerly, widow of John Kennerly as his daughter,Eliza md.Jesse Blocker and daughter Martha md. Michael Blocker,Jesse's brother.Another son,RobertW.Malone who md. Edna Davenport, had a daughter named Lavinia Malone.
I hesitate to suggest that the John Malone you mention may be the John Malone who married Ann Calloway...an unproven son of George Malone and his wife,Martha Wilkinson Malone of Granville Co.,NC and Wilkes and Jasper Co.,Ga.
This John was born in 1787 in Caswell Co.,NC.and they md.1-6-1811 in Wilkes Co.,Georgia. Any proof to substantiate that.
I am interested in the information of Rev.Booth Malone. He was living in Limestone Co., Alabama in 1826 by a death notice of another minister,Rev. Arthur McClure,in the Huntsville advertiser, who died in Malone's home. Still there in 1832 by deed to
Blocker, but perhaps prepatory to a move to Ms.?
