Cornelius Malone's wife name was Ales, who with Cornelius, was an educated protestant and came to the colonial US as an indentured servant of Samuely Wyly-and served as an indentured servant for 4 years. They honored their indenture and Wyly released them from their indenture. They then took up a grant oftraveler who got land in Charleston in Pine Tree Hill, SC who had not claimed or lived on the land. The had traveled with Wyly an others in a group, from Dublin Ireland on the snow Betty and Rachel.
They land not where they intended(Cape Fear, NC) but in Charleston instead as their Captain was unfamiliar with the coast. They landed August, 1751.
