A. C. 'Bud' Malone Jr., 71, passed away peacefully at his
home in Rockwall, TX, on Monday, October 11, 2010.

A native of Hampton, TN, he was born to Arson and Molly
Malone Sr., on July 22, 1939. Bud worked for the Carter
County School System until his retirement in 1998.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A. C. and Molly
Malone; and a sister, Jean Pearce.

He served in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Dale Stout
Malone; three sons, Kelly Lynn and wife Tina, of Myrtle
Beach, SC, Roger and wife Stayce, of Rockwall, TX, and
Anthony 'Tut' and wife Donna, of Myrtle Beach, SC; nine
grandchildren, Jessica, Ben, Sarah, Jacob and wife Heather,
Joshua, Rebekah, Wesley, and Amelia and Casey; one great
grandson, Caden Jacob; a brother, Dr. Willie Malone; and
several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his pet
Chihuahua, 'Punky'.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to
Dr. Marshall, Dr. Witherspoon, and Dr. Bergram, and a very
special “Thank You” to Compassionate Hands Hospice and his
nurse, Mike.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.,
Sunday, in the funeral home. Friends may also call at the
residence of his brother-in-law, Jerry Stout, 404 Ridgecrest
Drive, Elizabethton, TN.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3 p.m., Sunday,
October 17, 2010, in Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in Happy Valley Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be grandchildren. Honorary
pallbearers will be friends and neighbors.

Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion
and Tennessee National Guard.
