Jean Mandot, changed to John, was Marcelin's brother. I have some of the family records. I do know they were from Morlanne, France. I have his siblings and parents info.We haven't found out the exact date they arrived in New Orleans. John married Marie Pascal in 1878. Marc was born in 1879 I have his siblings names from a 1900 Orleans parish census. I have a copy of Johns death certificate. He is burried in the Mandot tomb along with Marcelin and lots of other Mandots.I did not go there yet but my sisters did. They did not get as much information as I would have. I hope this helps you out. You can E-Mail me if you would like. If they do not post my e-mail address let me know in your response.
