Marg...i just read jim simon's response of 12/22/01...the peice of paper he has from California is the xmas card my grandfather put together in 1965...but all that shows is dates of birth, death, and some residing towns...also since he was a descendant of william manhard and the offspring of his son seaman...my grandfather did some more indepth history..it is in a box at my brothers...the next time i go down to visit him i will try to get my hands on it and pass along anything useful...i do know he spent many years corresponding around the globe to get the information that he did obtain...remarkable since it was all before the net....also i have a picture of the manhard school that is mentioned in the history of elizabeth township...infact it was the last day of classes in june of 1963 or 1964 when is closed forever...it might be a couple of months before i can look for the book my grandfather put together...i will keep in touch...or if you have any questions....erin manhard miller
