Artimissa MANHARD and Thomas Fisher WOOD are my Gr-Gr-Grandparents and I am looking for info on them. Artimissa was born 28 Nov 1814 and her parents were George & Jane Manhard (cousins). It is mostly Thomas' parents that I need further info on. He was born in 1826 and the Manhard genealogy info I found in Marg Hunter's website says he was born in Edwardburgh, Ontario. He died 08 Oct 1895 and is buried in the Manhard Cemetery with Artimissa, who died 04 Aug 1888. Thomas & Artimissa had a son, George Alexander, who married Euretta Jane JOHNS, and their son was Omer Mirza WOOD, my grandfather, who married Florence 'Mabel' McDougall in 1925. George & Euetta had a farm in Fairfield East, Ont, where my grandfather lived and died (in 1961).
I am up against a solid brick wall with the Wood family with anything beyond Thomas. Can anyone HELP ME?
