Whilst researching my family tree, Goodfellow, I have come across a Manners family.
I have Richard Manners b. Northumberland 1834,
wife Elizabeth b. Newcastle upon Tyne 1838,
children Thomas and Rich'd b. Newcastle 1870 & 1868 and Elizabeth b. South Shields 1878 (who is my Gt. Grandmother). (these dates are give or take 1yr)

Elizabeth Manners b. 1878 married a John William Smith, I think.
Yours
Elaine.
