The Manners family in China

Following my recent message, I have managed to obtain a bit more information about Charles Manners. He is described by my uncle John Manners as "a very distant relation, who was manager of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Wharf and Godown Company. When the Japanese invaded the Colony, he surrendered it to them, and eventually he died in captivity". I don't know if anyone has any information, but would be very interested to know how he fits into the network of cousins.

Best wishes,
Elizabeth Manners
