Mystery of Elizabeth Manners Sutton
Posted by: Toni Sammons Date: February 22, 2002 at 16:33:18

In my family history Elizabeth Manners and Robert Sutton of Aram,(m. in 1614-1616(FHS) had a son Leonard, who died in the war, in the Royalist cause, leaving a son John. The FHS shows no ofspring, and also it shows her marrying again- a man named Thomas Brown-now was there divorce, or is this a mistake? A mystery to me. I had assumed she might have died in childbirth. Does anyone know anything of this woman, her life? Robert Suton's is well-noted- she is the vanishing woman. Thanks for any ideas, Toni Sammons
