MANNERS family in North Riding, YORKSHIRE earliest known ancestor,JOHN MANNERS married Susannah Hill in Stokesley, 1768. May have originated Helmsley, Yorkshire.
Son William born in Crathorne, his son John Manners born 1793 lived Long Newton, was village Shoemaker.
Nephew Robert Manners born 1842 later lived Hamburg, Germany. Am researching his descendants - sons John born 1883 Shipping Agent in Hong Kong, eventually lived Cook,Illinois,USA, Harry August Manners born 1881 Hamburg, Germany, went
Washington, USA. Other siblings/ descendants in Texas, Holland, USA. Can anyone connect with them? I have much data re earlier family relatives in Yorkshire.
