Hi Pam,

I had a Douglas Ernest Manners born 1928 (d1898) in Limerick listed, and he is listed as dsp. He was the 7th child (of 10)of Henry Herbert (d1843) and Sabrina Brisett.

My information shows this family descend from Robert Manners and Elizabeth White, Robert was the youngest son of Lord William Manners and Corbetta Smyth.

I have found research showing Elizabeth White as Hamilton, not sure why. I have also not figured out why they went to Scotland, maybe she was married ?, anything anyone can add would be much appreciated.

All your information corresponds with my database, and I have all descendants except for those of Douglas, if this is the same Douglas. Vernon is a middle name that often crops up and names sometimes have been added after christening.

Has Brent Manners responded to your posting ?

If this is verified I would like to add it to the database.

Thanks

Regards

Bob.
