Hi Joan,
Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply to your mess-
age about the Manners line. My fathers(Manners) family is
scatterred across the United States and possibly in Aust-ralia and still in Scotland and England,so where to begin?
Here in Nebraska are Manners in all the towns I named and my father, who passed away on Dec.11,2006,told me he had
2nd cousins living in Alexandria. He did not know who they
were, just that from an old family reunion in Grand Island
years ago,he had met them. All I can do is ask names of
your Manners and compare them with mine. My grt. grand-
parents were John and Sarah Manners who had a farm on the
Iowa-Missouri border,they had 13 living children who,nat-
urally, ended up everywhere.I have seen some of your post-
ings elsewhere and believe we do share the line also. How
do you want to begin? Best regards--Elaine
