Hi, Elaine. I am positive there was only one Manners family in Alexandria, NE, and that was mine. My grandfather, Guy, was the only barber there for years. My father lived there until he was about 22 years old, and he had one brother and one sister. I couldn't find a John with a Sarah in my line, but I don't have all the info on the other lines. Can you give me your line from where you start to you? If you like, you can e-mail me at with info. I can tell you for sure the earliest ancestors I am aware of started in PA and moved to IA and then NE and then WY where I grew up. Thanks. Joan
