Joseph Manners and Ann Hervie

I am trying to find out more about Joseph and Ann. I know they had four children christened in Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton.
Thomas 4-6-1773
John 5-14-1775
Ann 2-23-1777
William 7-11-1779
All four records list the father as Joseph Manners and the mother as Ann Hervie.
I've been trying to find out where they were married, but can find no records for them in Scotland through IGI or ScotlandsPeople. I've been told this Manners family traces it's roots back to England so decided to search there next.
No marriage for Joseph Manners and Ann Hervie / Harvie / Harvey in IGI. But there is one for Joseph Manners and Ann Stocks for 14 Jun 1768, Cathedral Saint Peter, Sheffield, Yorkshire. I also found Ann Harvey marrying Benjamin Stocks in the same cathedral 28 Jan 1765. I can't help but think this is the same Ann. I also found two christenings, Joseph 24 Sep 1769 and Hannah 17 Feb 1771 in that same church, which would fit in nicely with the birth pattern of the four children born in Old Kilpatrick.
This could all be coincidence of course, but the pieces fit together so nicely I feel it bears investigation. I just don't know how to find out if these are the right people.
Does anyone have any other information on this branch of the Manners family? Would the marriage record in Yorkshire for Joseph and Ann Stocks indicate if she was a widow? Does anyone have access to that marriage record? Would the church in Old Kilpatrick have any records of new parishoners moving to the area back around 1772ish?
Thanks for any help with this!
