Greetings! In continuing the search for my relatives, perhaps one of you more experienced folks would care to assist a newcomer. I've searched a good portion of sites but to no avail in finding more information about my great grandfather, John Pitt Manners b. ?-1866, d. 7-1929. He married Ida Jane Kunkle in Dec 1884. Ida Jane died in 5-1905, leaving 7 living young children. John Pitt Manners remarried shortly (1 year?)thereafter and the woman he married didn't want any of the children so they were placed with relatives & friends. No living relatives know the name of his second wife or even if he fathered more children. They lived in and around Indiana County, PA during the late 1800-early 1900's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
