On yks 1881 census John 75 Mary55, and also daughter Alice 18, plus Grandson age unknown John Thomas.I am researching my family as well but not getting very far cannot find my g.g.grandfathers parents. He was Thomas Manners born 1841 but that is all I know.By the way bit of a coincidence about our names is,nt it?
