Have you got your Tim's & Pat's mixed up? My relatives include Timothy Mannix born circa 1803 City of Cork IRL son of Patrick Mannix & Mary nee Quinlan. Timothy arrived on the "Blenheim" in 1834 as a servant. His father Patrick born circa 1766 Co. Cork arrived as a convict on the "Earl St. Vincent" circa 1818. Patrick's wife Mary applied to accompany her husband with some of her children i.e. Margaret & Mary. They arrived on the "Andromea" 1834. Timothy followed later on his own. Mary's petition is part of the Irish Transportation Records that were donated to Australia as part of the 1988 Bicentenary & can be accessed on the National Library site (I think) & viewed at the State Library of NSW & the National Library of Australia in Canberra. I am related through Timothy's daughter Sarah who married Thomas Andrew Smith and lived at Wollombi in the Hunter Valley NSW. Let me know if this is the same family you are researching, email [email protected]
