Manville - Pease connection VT / CT / NH
My ggreat-grandmother was Lucinda Manville Pease. She was born May 14, 1820 in Starksboro, VT. She married Abel Cooper Buffum. Her parents were Obed Pease of VT (may have been born in CT)and Lydia Lamos of NH then VT. I'm wondering if there is a Manville branch that belongs to Lucinda's line. Most of Lucinda's line has been filled in, but a few missing brances involve wives without names or with only the first name:
SWAIN -Mary no last name b. 2/2/1680 wife of William SWAIN of Hampton, NH.
GOODWIN - Edward GOODWIN of Amesbury, MA in the early-mid 1600's, but no information on his wife.
TWOMBLY - Sarah TWOMBLY of Dover, NH in the mid-late 1600's without parents.
GILES -Mark GILES of NH in the mid 1600's without a wife's name.
CLARK - Abraham CLARK, also of NH in the mid 1600's, needs a wife's name and his parents are missing.
FARNUM / FARNHAM - Ralph Farnum had a wife Mary, but no last name...they were from England to MA...1600's.
ABBOTT - George ABBOTT of MA also needs a wife...1600's.
CUMMINGS - Anne, wife of Isaac Cummings of MA...1600's.
PEASE - Sarah with no last name, wife of Robert PEASE who came to MA from England.
MARKHAM - Daniel MARKHAM of MA needs a wife.
I'm wondering if the MANVILLE name ties into any of those missing branches.
