+I wonder if your william is related. my father was Edd Maples son of William Maples son of James Maples. James and William were from TN. he/they owned property in TN This was sold for taxes in 1920 I have been trying to find them for 35 years. the story - James /William left TN during civil war and finally ended up in Casey County KY. James/william's? family disowned him.
Living in KY and having a very sick husband for 5 years I cannot come to Knoxville to do research. My message is long too, sorry let me know if you have any infor. or just want to discuss
