Hello, I'm a researcher for my family the 'Long's' that
married into the Maples family back in 1791, in
Va. Do you have any info or dates on Josiah Maples and
Mary Ann 'Dryer?' I have information that there was
a Josiah Maples and ? that was suppose to be living
in Pittsylvlania Co., Va. in 1767. He married ? and they
had several childlren, one being Noah Maples who was
born in Va. 1754. Noah married Rebecca 'Langston.'
They ended up settling in Eastern Tennessee, on the
Little Pigeon River, in Sevier County. I would be
happy to exchange notes on the Maples family.
