I have these following lines of Maples.
William Maples Sr. b. 1725 d. ? m. Prudence ?
Prudence b. 1730 d. 1810/20 . They married in
1748 Halifax Co., Va; lived Va. NC., SC., & Tn.
Family of William & Prudence Maples were:
Josiah; John (or Jonathan); Joseph; Noah; Mary;
girl ?..; girl ?...; William Jr.; Girl ?..; Elizabeth
M.; Wilson Sr.; Mary Ann; Edmond; Sarah "Polly".
I do have the dates of birth, most of their d. dates
and to whom they married in most of the names.
This was posted on the Smoky Mt. Historical Society
by Charles E. Maples, in Pigeon Forge, Tn. I'm trying
at this very day to get a hold of him, but so far
no luck. I am the ggggrandaughter of Rev. George W.
Long 1 who married Nancy Elizabeth "Maples" Long.
Also, more of the Long's that married into the Maples
family. They all lived in Va. Tn. Ak. Mo & Ok. (I.T.)
