Earskin is the son of Frank and Mary Maples. He shows up in the 1910 census of Cherokee Co., AL (Mt. Pleasant)as age 15 with sisters: Pearle 13, Zulie 10, Bertie 8 and Ula Mae 2. His brother is Frank, Jr. age 4 yrs. Mary shows that she has had 9 children with 6 living. Shows she married John in 1891. Frank is 46 (born: 1864 AL) and Mary is 36 also born AL.
