From Census Records: Minnie L. parents in the 1900 Census in Walker Co, GA. James Hampton, b: 1-1865 TN / wife Nancie Jane 9-1877 GA / Children: Barney 8-1870, Minnie L. showing her birth as Nov. 1894 not dec., 1896 but no doubt the same person and William H. 7-1896. Living next door is Minnie's grandparents: Hugh Hampton 6-1833 VA / Rebecca 7-1839 / Doctor F. (son)11-1878.

In the 1920 census where Earskin and Minnie are married she states that her father born in TN and Mother in GA also makes the census above correct. The census taker may have asked a neighbor about the correct ages and I've seen it missed up before by a few years.

Well this is all I can help you with and the rest is up to you. Good Luck.
