If you don't have them, Eleazer Maranville's parents were Lewis [Louis] DeMaranville & Mary DeMaranville, m. 17 Nov 1806 in Grafton Co., NH -- at least according to the "DeMaranville Genealogy: Descendants of Louis DeMaranville," compiled by George L. Randall [Mercury Publishing Company, New Bedford, MA, 1921], p. 11.

Lewis' parents were Charles2 DeMaranville & Deborah Lombard [aka Lumber]. Mary's parents may have been John2 DeMaranville & Mary Pierce. Both Charles & John were sons of Louis1 DeMaranville & Susanna Crapo.

Both of these DeMaranville family lines left New Hampshire and were settled in Ashtabula Co., OH, by 1811. Over the years, most of their descendants dropped the De. Several De-less branches moved to Fulton Co., IL, in the early 1830s.
