Greetings Norma, I am interested in you plight with Joseph Marchal being stolen. My GGrandfather, John Marshall, was reportedly stolen by the "Indians" when young. As far as we can tell he came of Pennsylvania, and was most likely born about 1855 - he ended up here in Canada, Maple Creek Saskatchewan is where he is buried, and he died in 1909 at the age of 54 years. He married Lorena Anna had children one of which was my grandmother, Marion Louise , and perhaps a sister, possible Sadie or Sarah. I have a photograph of Lorena and her parents, Elizabeth Octavia Coombs, John Allen husband, and sister. These are my brick walls, so thought I would follow through on the possiblity of Marchal use may bring some info. Thanks in advance, candis
