John Marchal/Josephine Trauffler - Belgium-Illinois-Minnesota

I'm trying to track the movement of a family named "Marschall" from Belgium. The father, John Marschall married a Josephine Trauffler either in Belgium or in Illinois as this couple had several children born in Illinois. Between 1865-1872 the family lived in St. Cloud, Stearns County in central Minnesota. I found baptismal records for several more children born in St. Cloud. After that time, I have lost the family and do not know what happened to them. Can anyone help me? Correspondence with a genealogist in Belgium tells me the correct spelling of the family's name should be Marchal, since they are from Belgium
