Hello,
I am researching my family history, and recently
obtained a copy of the record of marriage for my gr.grandparents, Alfred Marchal and Julia LaChance,
married in Uxbridge, MA. in 1883. Listed as Alfred's
parents are John Marchal, and Anglice Whaley. Has anyone
run across these persons? Given the family's French Canadian heritage, I am wondering about the spelling of
the last names, given what I know of later census reports,
etc. where the name was Anglicized,etc. Hoping that someone can direct me toward figuring this out. I'd
appreciate any possible suggestions. Thank you.
