Mardon, Son & Hall (Bristol)
Hi,
Does anyone have any information on a printers and stationary company, Mardon, Son & Hall of Bristol (United Kingdom). They were in operation from about 1825 until the 1930's and printed cigarette cards for the Imperial Tobacco Company as well as playing cards and the occasional tourist guide.
Apparently my great grandfather, Ernest Mardon was the owner of the company prior to it's incorporation into the Imperial Tobacco group.
Thanks in advance for any responses.
