My Great Grandfather was Manuel Marichalar b. 1880 in Cameron County Tex. His mother died giving him life. He had siblings: Sophia and Helena. Manuel's Grandmother brought him to Wilson County when he was a newborn. He married Pilar Lazarin in Elmendorf in 1905.
Manuel's Parents: Francisco Marichalar and Dolores Sanchez(1860-1880). Dolores was the daughter of Juan Sanchez and Cornean(sp?) Garcia. Francisco married again to Victoria Garza and had abt 11 children.
Francisco was born 15 Jan 1859 in Cameron County, Santa Maria Ranch, died 8 November 1935 in Brownsville, was living in San Rafael Ranch.
Francisco's parents: Manuel S. Marichalar b. abt 1836 and Enemencia(sp?) Bocanegra b. abt 1836.
Believe Manuel's parents were Francisco Xavier Marichalar and Gertrudis De Sada who married in 1796 in Nuevo Leon Mexico (Monterrey??)Many Marichalar/De Sada Children. Believe Manuel S. Marichalar actually named Juan Manuel Marichalar de Sada.
This is all I have, Help!!! If you see or know of anything familiar, please contact me:
